A TRIP TO BICESTER VILLAGE (DESIGNER OUTLET) HAUL

00:34:00

So me and my friend decided to go to Bicester Village Designer Outlet. I'm sure most of you have heard of this outlet as it's quite popular but if you haven't it is located in Oxford and you are able to get there by train, coach, bus and of course driving as they have parking there. (Check out more info here: https://www.bicestervillage.com/en/getting-here/)

We had been planning to come for quite a while now but with work and uni our timings just clashed but we made it a absolute must that we would come here during summer break and we did!

Since we went on a Monday and considering it was the summer holidays it wasn't that busy (not as busy as it usually is) but still quite a lot of people...put it this way, we found spaces to sit and eat our ice creams and the restaurant we ate in had empty tables... (take from that what you will).

So of course the first thing we did when we got there was eat! We needed energy to shop. We ate at a Japanese restaurant called Itsu where they had ready made sushi and noodles/soups you could have them heat up behind the counter. There was a eating in fee as well which was like £4 something (keep in mind the food places are quite somewhat expensive as it is a designer outlet that attracts lots of people everyday).

So after we ate, we decided to start from top to bottom, entering any stores that caught our eye (mainly by how many people were in there and if there were any queues). I didn't really have anything I wanted to particularly buy in mind as I had already spent money buying stuff from the Selfridges sale a month earlier but I came out with more than I imagined...

I could of came out with many more bags but I (very sadly) stopped myself. So from Superdry, I mainly bought casual t-shirts for my parents and my brother (I'll skip that part because nobody wants to see the tshirts I bought). SO onto Calvin Klein Underwear, it doesn't state underwear on the bag but the CK store there were specifically for just underwear and pj's. No casual clothing.

I bought this lace bralette for the days I don't want to wear a proper bra. Cream colour as it's more natural, I already own a black lace bralette from Brandy Melville so this one will go with more nude coloured clothing.

Calvin Klein underwear shorts. I bought this because it was cheaper and I have the CK black sports bra, I can now match them together.

Large Longchamp Le Pilage Tote Bag. Very popular bag, I have been looking at this bag for ages but wasn't sure if I wanted to spend £70 on a basic looking bag. I am SO happy I decided to purchase this as I can see myself using it a lot. Got it for slightly cheaper too. I am also very happy I went with the colour red as most (if not all) my clothes are black/white or grey (literally) and this will give it the splash of colour to my outfits! One of my favourite purchases!!

Burberry purse/wallet. I bought this for my mum as she has been wanting a new purse for a while and didn't manage to get any during the seasonal sale in June. Really happy with the price I got it for, it was also the last one they had and many people were asking the staff if they had anymore once I had it in my hand so I'm guessing its popular/really nice? I quite like it and inside it has the famous Burberry lining and lots of spaces for cards. My mum was really happy with it so I think I did well!

YSL cardholder. Saint Laurent was one of the last shops we went to before we left as we had forgotten/missed it. This is probably my second favourite purchase! It doesn't scream YSL and the logo/imprint on it is quite subtle, which I like. Don't get me wrong though, the ones with gold/silver YSL hardware are equally as nice! I had been eyeing these up for a while on their website again during the summer sales but it was out of stock before I even blinked. I chose red as it again is a statement colour (they also had a black).

This store probably had the nicest and friendliest sale advisors, they actually seemed like they wanted to make convo with us instead of just making us want to look at their stuff and spend. Really helped with the colour decisions and compared prices for us etc. Really happy with this, I've always wanted a cardholder as they're super handy but since I had bought a similar one from Marc Jacobs in June I was debating if I should purchase another....I'm so glad I did anyway and do not regret it one bit!!

During our shopping we decided to take a ice cream break and we went to Amorino, the famous Italian ice cream stand that creates rose shaped ice creams. I've been seeing them around on Instagram and Tumblr, I just knew I had to try it out as I love ice cream anyway (who doesn't).

We mainly bought it for the photography/Instagram shot but it was delicious! So it wasn't totally just for that purpose (so I say). Having said that though it was really difficult to photograph, or maybe I'm just a bad photographer, BUT I got the regular size since the large was huge and I don't think I would've been able to finish it. I guess my one was "small" to take a nice worthy photo but hey I tried, p.s you'll see what I mean in the photo below.

See what I mean!?! (don't mind the guys foot) it looked way better in person! I would defo try it out though if you haven't before! The queue was quite "long", we waited around 10 mins. There are only 3 people working, 2 if you don't count the one that's just taking payments but it could've been a lot worse!

And there was this beautiful display, you could take a photo infront of. Would you guess the flowers were fake? Because they totally are! Not bad for a bit of fabric/plastic. Considering I went without purchasing anything in mind, I think I did quite well. Bicester isn't shopping I could do everyday (maybe if I ever got rich....) so the next time I go would probably be next year or so!
