UNIVERSITY, IPHONE 7 PLUS, GOING MORE BLONDE - OCTOBER 2016

17:03:00

It's been so long since I wrote a blog post (to anyone still reading..) and thought I would update you (and myself for when I read this in the future haha)

I have moved out for University for 3rd year! As much as I hate to admit it, I think I'm going to be kind of sad when it's all finished. From seeing my friends every other day to only going to be seeing them every now and then is going to be sad since we all live on different corners of the UK! That being said though I will not miss the deadlines or stress....(speaking of deadlines, I have one due on Thursday yet I am wasting time blogging...moving on)

My bed looks comfy right? The black and white triangle pillows are from Tiger and the fluffy heart one is from New Look. Compared to my room back in 1st year (commuted 2nd year) I prefer my current room way more, closer to the Uni and more local and walking distance from everything too. If anyone is starting University, definitely go and check out houses in person before signing the contract (made that mistake 1st year).

Since my last post you may or may not have noticed that my hair was blonde, since then I have bleached it again and it has gone more blonde, I recently fixed my roots since they were showing way too much and it looks like I have bleached my whole head again, it just looks more fresh!

(Top's from Forver21 and Zara)

This is with indoor lighting, before I bleached my roots the top half was going orange-y/bronze so I re-did my roots and the outcome was this! Not sure how long I will have blonde hair for, I want to keep it for a while (until I graduate at least) but not sure if that will be healthy for my hair.... I am still getting compliments about my blonde hair though, so that's a good sign right? 😅  I still remember when I was too nervous to bleach it because....bleach...but SO happy I finally did it. I have been wanting it since foreverrr.

So I realised I am jumping to things too quickly and this post doesn't really make sense but I bought the iPhone 7 Plus!! I was contemplating to get it or not because I didn't even have my 6 Plus for a year yet but when I was watching the Apple Event and saw that they were coming out with a matte black one I had to get it (yes, you can call me an Apple hoe).

It's so preettty!! The jet black is also very pretty but the thought of have greasy fingerprints everywhere didn't appeal to me. It's so weird going back to the black iPhone, I haven't had a black iPhone since the 4s. I do have to admit though,  cases look a lot better with a white facing on the front. And yes the thing everyone is wondering about.

The missing headphone jack.

I so far have not had problems with the missing headphone jack because I don't listen to music with my headphones in and charge my phone in at the same time anyway. The only thing that is a hassle (if you even call it a hassle or just laziness) is that sometimes I have to bring both my headphones (one's with a headphone jack and one with the lightning jack) incase I want to watch videos or listen to music on my Macbook (since they use the normal headphone jack) but other than that it's been fine, for me anyway.

Onto more recent outings, me and my friend last week went to Koreatown which is located in New Malden. I didn't realise I was so close to it (from where my Uni is located). We went to this cafe called Bingsoo Cafe after seeing so many pictures on Instagram of it.

It is basically condensed(?) milk but they made it so it is frozen but will fall to pieces once you dig into it...okay wait doesn't make sense but basically, it is like snow. I originally thought it was shaved ice (I've been wanting to eat shaved ice since I came back from HK because I didn't get the chance to eat it there and I can't find a place in the UK that does it) but this is more like a milk kind of taste.

I ordered the Mango large and my friend ordered the Oreo in medium. I ordered the large thinking it wouldn't be that big but then a family of 4 sat next to us and ordered 1 large to SHARE. Fml. So yeah, long story short, just buy the medium if you are going alone and getting one each. Anything for that Insta shot though right? 😂

This post is getting to wordy and long now so I think I will end it here. Follow my Instagram with the latest snaps (I upload more on there than on here!)
