2016 Update: January - June

I've given my blog a make-over!!! I'm really happy with how it turned out, so glad I learnt something from my internship (html and coding is not as easy as it looks).
So a life update..... I have finished my 2nd year at university and I'm am content with my grades, suuuuper happy with my last unit grades. During the last term I was required to do an internship with a company in the fashion field (I am studying fashion marketing and management) and to be honest I was really really nervous and I didn't want to do it (thinking of the worse) but it gave me a really good experience to see how it is in the "real world", the company I worked with were super nice and friendly and I did abit of everything from ops, marketing, handling social media to creating new content.
I was there for 3 months and a few weeks and I have now finished, everyone tells me that an internship is essential and it looks good on your CV when you graduate and apply for jobs and I don't disagree! It looks good to show that you have some experience in the field. I don't know if I am ready for final year but I cannot believe how quickly 2nd year has flown by!
I also had my nails done at the office at one point, they were so nice in letting me do it (as I was supposed to be working)
I turned 21 in April! I didn't do anything major, just had a family dinner the weekend before and a few friends came down to celebrate my birthday on the day, I went to watch a movie, then we went to the Jump Arena (a room filled with trampolines) and we went to eat dinner later.
Super happy/grateful I got the Mulberry Bayswater Clutch as one of my gifts, perfect for when I don't need to be carrying a lot of things like if I'm going somewhere quick, having a small bag really shows you how much junk I carry in my usual bags!
Also, a few restaurants have opened up in my local town centre!!! A dessert place called Creams (which does the best waffles, I've already tried 3 and an sundae), Five Guys (MY LOVE!!) and a Krispy Kreme.
The best waffle out of the three I've had is either the strawberry or the ferrero rocher, the fudge cake one was disappointing as the menu said "drizzling with chocolate sauce" but it tasted quite dry and the sauce wasn't exactly "drizzling".
Moving on....I bleached my hair!!! Yes, I finally bleached my hair, after years of putting it off/not getting it done. The experience wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The reason why I put it off is because well, it is bleach, super harmful to your scalp and hair. But with the right treatments and masks it isn't too bad.
My hair is already naturally dry, I was afraid that once I bleached it, it would literally turn into hay but actually, after I dyed it the first time, it felt softer than when I usually had finished dying/washing my hair. Since I have long and thick hair, 2 bottles of hair bleach wasn't enough which left it SUPER patchy.....I had to buy some blonde hair dye boxes to cover it up the next day but obviously, I am Chinese and we tend to get brassy coloured hair rather than the blonde straight away, my hair went super brassy orange.

It currently looks like my sidebar photo, maybe less bright now (my friend mentioned that it looked darker yesterday but I think it depends on the lighting) I am planning to bleach it again, maybe next month or so because I want to give my hair a break! I missed having light hair, my hair is still not completely even but it's not as bad as it was before.
What am I doing now?
Since I have finished university and my summer has basically started I am planning to spend time with friends since this will be my last summer (ever?) because next year I will be looking for a job since my educational years will be over.
I am also looking for a second part time job (to save up for holidays next year!!) there are also quite a few movies lined up to come out this summer so I will hopefully have a chance to see them!
