Byron: Proper Hamburgers
17:03:00A month or or two ago I went to Byron's after a day of shopping around, the one I went to was located at Westfield. This was my first time trying Byron since again, I don't have one near me (I make it sound like I live in the middle of no-where).
There were seating inside as you can see or there was an open space outside, which was where we were seated. The restaurant was not that busy when we went but I think that's just because of the time we went, which was during school hours.
I got the chicken burger (because they're the best type of burger), chips and a drink. The burger was quite small for the price it was. The chicken breast was chargrilled and it did taste nice but I wasn't amazed, although I did enjoy the Byron sauce on it, I didn't eat the gherkin(?) on the side because I personally don't like them. They gave a big amount of skinny chips on the side which were quite nice and filling. The service was quick and the staff were very friendly coming up occasionally now and then asking if we needed anything else.
The meal was separate so nothing came together e.g. burger, side and drink. For the price it is I thought it was decent, it did fill us up (especially by the time you finish your chips). We didn't opt for dessert either because we were too full by the end of it. I would visit again if I saw a restaurant nearby but not purposely go there to eat their burgers.
At the end once we paid they also gave us this little leaflet which also lets you know they do takeout and their prices. Have you visited Byron: Proper Hamburgers before and did you enjoy your experience?
